Newest of our fleet, the Ikaika Kai is a Tournament equipped Bertram 31 Sport Fisherman powered with Twin Yanmar diesels. This fast, clean and comfortable boat will get you fishing quickly!

Ikaika Kai is Tournament equipped with Gold Shimano Tiagra 2 speed reels and Penn International reels, from the light, to the big 130's.

The 31 Bertram is the ultimate classic sport fishing machine, and this one has been thoroughly upgraded and beautifully restored. Ikaika Kai has been a labor of love for one of Hawaii's top sportfishing vessel owner/operators and her extensive reworking includes a full repower, rewiring, new decks, plumbing, paint a more and every bit of work has been done to yacht-quality standards. She is designed equipped for serious offshore tournament and charter sport fishing. This model includes an enclosed head compartment with an electric toilet, and a vee-berth, forward. Full tuna tower with controls. Teak cockpit and covering boards. Insulated fish boxes are built into the cockpit sole.

The Bertram 31 has become legendary for her ability to handle big seas in relative comfort and safety. But another attribute that is absolutely necessary for a successful fishing boat is maneuverability. The 31 is easily controlled whether in head seas, following seas, fighting a fish or docking at a marina, yet another reason for her loyal following.

With lines both unchanged since 1960 and unmatched by any boat since, low profile, wide beam, huge cockpit, and strictly business-like appearance, the "mother-of-all-deep-vees" is still a dominant force in offshore sportfishing.
